High School Campaign Guide
This campaign can be used to promote responsible driving for those students who are turning age sixteen at your school. More young people die each year because of traffic accidents and crashes than anything else. FLORIDA SADD hopes you will use this campaign to encourage young drivers to think about such traffic safety issues as wearing seat belts, speeding, impaired driving, distracted driving, red light running, drowsy driving, and aggressive driving.
Included in this campaign kit are:
- 100 Litter Bags
- 100 Key Chains
- 100 Window Clings
- 100 Getting and Keeping Your 1st Driver’s License Brochure
- 1 Happy 16th Birthday Card Slick*
You will insert a key chain, window cling, brochure, and birthday card inside the litter bag and distribute these to those students who are turning age sixteen. You can also add candy and other items to the bag to wish students a "Happy 16th Birthday" and encourage them to drive responsibly. You could also encourage local restaurants and businesses to donate items such as food coupons to add to the litter bag too.
